About Me

Saturday, June 18, 2005

I'm a 26 year old from Edinburgh - I've lived in Auld Reekie all my life, and I can't imagine living anywhere else (although I wouldn't rule it out). I live with my fiance and two cats, and spend my time working, reading, drinking tea and dreaming about being a best-selling novelist, but not actually writing said best-selling novel.

I decided to start this blog as a way to get me writing something every day, and with the modest hope that one or two people might be interested enough to visit every now and again. I talk about pretty much anything that comes into my head, but I try to steer clear of work and workmates (in fear of being dooced), and most things to do with my family. My fiance is fair game, however. He's fine with that.

My life totally changed when I lost my dad on 13 November 2005, I've yet to write anything about that - I will one day though.

I'm getting married on 1st September 2007, and am currently freaking out about having to a) organise and pay for the wedding, and b) get married. I don't intend to take my fiance's name, and have endured much negativity from most people I have told about this. I don't give a rat's ass.
